In Oklahoma this week we have been having crazy weather with extreme thunderstorms including hail and heavy winds along with hours and hours of tornado watches and warnings. Here are some “after” pictures as we head into some sunny days and unseasonably high temperatures

My favorite shades of my favorite color!

Rains made a pond in a low spot in our backyard bringing in the ducks from a bigger pond to search for earthworms.

Whooshing sounds brought us out into our backyard. Not uncommon in NM, but I hadn’t seen any in OK.

I’m glad you are safe and the storms have passed. Beautiful images of spring, Linda. I have always wanted to attend a hot air balloon festival, someday….

We are thankful to survive this round untouched. We are learning a lot about tornadoes and how they form. Hot air balloon festivals are fun, but even seeing one in the sky is awe inspiring.

    Beautiful Iris! 😍
I’m glad you made it through unscathed, Linda. We’ve been getting lots of severe weather warnings here in NC as well. Rain, thunderstorms and tornado watches. Scary.

I’m so glad you’re safe. These sound like horrible storms. We used to live just outside of St. Louis and went through many storms, and they are scary!
